Koiaris get help from NCD

 THE struggling Koiari RFL has recieved timely undisclosed financial backing from NCD Governor Powes Parkop to stage it’s grand final this weekend at Iarowari High school. 

Emotional acting president Walo Benson Auda had to fought back tears of joy when Billy Ski presented him NDC Governor Cup as ultimate  prize for the final. 

He said Mr Parkop has answered his prayers after his attempt to get Central Province Governor Kila Hoada to sponsor the final fell  into the deaf  ears.

He commended Parkop for his foresight in assisting the landowners of Port Moresby city. 

Auda further commended Mr Aki for his drive to get Parkop and his City management to look outside the city boundaries to assist Koiari RFL who is situated in Central Province .

“Koiari Community is indebted for Parlor for his kind gesture “, he said. 

Acting president said the main final is between Red Soil  Pukpuk and Donominas. 

The respective coaches Maintain Tamiko (Pukpuk) and Skills Peni (Donominas) hold the key to their team victory. 

In the U17 final,  Hydro Sparks take Adventure Park Kerala and the Pukpuk would challenge Hooks Tigers in U19 final. 

Ski said he took the initiative because he paid for their PNGRFL affiliation fee and now supporting them in the final.
