POLICE have confirmed the name of the murder victim at Koki recently as Eddie Thomas Enai, 30, of Zevenai village, Goilala, Central.
The homicide police named him yesterday.
Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko said the barbaric killing of Enai on April 30 was still being investigated by police.
He said that two suspects had been identified as being from Tari, Hela.
Tkatchenko also warned who continued to harbour suspects that police would not hesitate to arrest anyone seen helping those involved in the killing.
“When you decide to hide someone who is wanted by police, you have said to all of us you don’t want to be part of this community,” he said.
“Moresby South will not tolerate anyone who has vital information but is refusing to assist police in their investigations.
“I appeal to the Tari and the Goilala leaders of Moresby South, we want these murderers to be handed to police.
“We can’t have these people ruining our society.”
The killing caught on CCTV footage saw two men approach Enai, who, according to reports, was seated between two buildings along the road near the City Mission building.
As they approached, the footage showed one of the men reaching into his bag and removing a bush knife.
Both men swung their knives, hitting Enai on his back.
He tried to run away but was hit again.
He scrambled to run but as he jumped over the barriers dividing the road, he tripped and the two hacked him to death.
