KOKI Primary School in Port Moresby was another recipient of Trukai Fun Run t-shirts.
CPL Group under its Stop and Shop brand made a presentation of 600 t-shirts worth K6000 to the school.
Senior teacher Jerry Ademe upon receiving the t-shirts thanked Stop N Shop and CPL Group: “On behalf of the school, students and stakeholders we thank CPL Group for coming to the aid by donating the Fun Run t-shirts to us.”
On presenting the t-shirts to the school, the CPL assistant marketing manager Anthony Yan said the company continued to support various sporting activities in the country, and giving the t-shirts to the school was to ensure the school had the opportunity to participate in the annual event.
He said it was also part of his company’s promotion of keeping fit for a healthier lifestyle.
“The sponsorship of the t-shirts is one of many more community partnership initiatives the company is looking at partnering with the local communities.”
Koki Primary School has more than 2000 students and 50 teachers.
