I WANT to commend Nipa-Kutubu MP Jeffrey Pesap Komal for visiting the districts in his electorate and allocating funds to upgrade roads and schools.

For the MP to visit the Aron area was a historic occasion for the people.

It was considered a special moment as no Nipa-Kutubu MP has ever visited the area since independence.

There was hardly any funding for the primary school, health centre and roads which about 10,000 people use.

However all that changed when Komal visited Aron and allocated funding of more than K1 million for the primary school, health centre and the Wolumesa-Kopa road.

I call on my Aron tribesmen and women to support the MP so that he will bring much-needed services to the area.

This funding will have a big impact on the lives of the people as it will change their way of doing things in the future.
