Kopex softball club gets support

NIUGINI Glass Aluminium yesterday offered K5,000 worth of softball gear to the Kopex Softball club in Port Moresby.
NGA representative Bernard Fong presented the equipment to club executive Chris Raphael in a brief ceremony at the Port Moresby men’s softball diamonds.
He thanked Niugini Glass Aluminum for their sponsorship.
He added that the club would unveil their new uniforms at the end of this month.
Raphael thanked Fong and the company for supporting clubs.
He said the club had been using the same equipment and uniforms for over 10 years, and was glad that the company had stepped in to offer their help.
Raphael also said that the club had entered three grand finals and became the premiers in the 2003-04 season.
The club is made up of players from all around PNG.
