THE Kumul Telikom Holdings Ltd (KTHL) board has appointed Amos Tepi as acting chief executive and managing director for its retail business.
This was revealed in a letter Tepi sent to staff on Friday following the suspension of Jessie Wanguna by the board. The letter read: “All staff of the KTHL group are advised that the board has appointed myself as the acting retail business chief executive office and as well as acting managing director effective July 9 following the suspension of Jessie Wanguna by the board today.”
Tepi said his appointment to have oversight of the KTHL office was to maintain the continuity of the business and organisational stability of the group.
“Please note that it is business as usual within the KTHL group and the current business drives like Telikom/bmobile merger, quality management system accreditation, and business turnaround strategy will remain as our focus at the strategic level,” he said.
“At the operational level, all KTHL staff are urged to continue pushing towards achieving the 2021 AOP targets.” Board chairman Johnson Pundari in an earlier letter to Tepi confirmed the board decision.
“Please send a circular to all employees immediately of this change if you don’t have any issues,” Pundari said.
