HIGHLANDERS have come to realise and cherish the hardship their forefathers in Morobe have proven through evangelism to cement lasting relationships, Attorney-General Kerenga Kua says.
Kua assured Morobeans and Highlanders to maintain the relationship while paying homage to the late Stella Kalina Mua Naru at the Resurrection Lutheran church in Lae last Friday.
He was referring to the relationship between Morobe Governor Kelly Naru and his late wife and said although she had passed away, she left behind their children and a bright future for Morobeans.
He said Naru and Stella’s relationship was the result of the strong bond and legacy left behind by their forefathers during the days of evangelism.
