THE country needs morally-upright and morally-conscious leaders, Kundiawa-Gembogl MP Tobias Kulang says.
Kulang said last Friday during grievance debate on the PIP expenditure following a statement by the National Planning Minister Sam Basil that PNG was going through a big moral crisis as good-thinking people could not comprehend right from wrong.
He said what was needed were morally-upright and morally-conscious people who could serve and lead the people.
He said current leaders were making a mockery of the people with all kind of deceitful actions, mismanaging and misusing people funds and making decisions which they knew were wrong but went ahead with them.
Kulang said as leaders they had the moral responsibility to protect and serve the people, despite where they came from.
He said distributing wealth of this nation should fair.
Kulang said as leaders, they had the responsibility to lead the people and develop the nation.
