Kumho-Hanjung leads Pom golf pennants

TEAM Kumho-Hanjung have taken a three-point lead at the top of the standings after beating defending champions Starland Dragons 4-3 in yesterday’s second round of the Port Moresby Golf Club’s monthly pennants competition.
The competition, sponsored by Telikom PNG, is played over 11 rounds and on the third Sunday of each month.
Yesterday’s loss sees the Dragons drop from third place after a first up win to joint fifth on 9.5 points with Ela Motors and AP Engineering.
Motor Vehicle Insurance Limited-Murupasi Lawyers are second on 11 points followed by Telikom PNG and More Than Oil, joint third, on 10.5 points each.
Air Niugini are eighth on six points followed by Bank South Pacific, four, DHJL 2.5 and Steamships Trading Company JD Hayes, two.
