RUGBY league is our national sport but what we saw in the Kumuls’ 9-8 defeat by France was dismaying.

We were provided so many opportunities.

We should have won this game.

I do not blame the technical support.

The players did not seem to be executing the game plan.

Although some may blame David Mead for his goalkick misses,  the fact is that the team’s general play actually lost the plot.

There was no flow for the team from one end to the other.

Winning is about coming out from the comfort zone and taking risks.

It is about playing with pride and dignity for loyal supporters.

Please make us proud, you have seven million fans supporting you.
