L&A backs school debate

THE L&A Group of Companies will sponsor the annual Institute of Business Studies schools debate competition for K30,000.
Presenting a cheque for the amount to institute director Sadiq Ali last Friday, company chairman Sir Luciano Cragnolini said L&A was happy to support the worthy cause.
“We are happy to sponsor the competition so our children’s education could be developed,” he said.
He said L&A sponsored last year’s debate and was pleased to continue to support it.
Ali acknowledged the continued support and described the debate as a very important academic competition.
He said four years since its start, there were now 64 schools nationwide participating.
Winning schools from the four regions will go into the draw for the national debate from Oct 23-26.
