Lack of leadership by town authority affects people

 IT appears that Kainantu Town Authority and District Administration do not exist.  

People have built their own market without the authority’s intervention to find a tangible solution for a proper town market. There are now four markets so far in our little town of Kainantu. 

This illustrates that the town authority as a regulating body overseeing the municipal functions in town have simply ignored or forgotten about the town market.

 The ignorance has paved way for the so call landowners to run and control the market. This may sound absurd or illogical however this is a reality in Kainantu. 

Do our leaders and good public servants have any plans for a market? 

If so, is there funding parked for it and when do we expect a new market facilities to be built? 

Why are the authorities and the leaders losing sight and giving way to the locals who are taking advantage by competing with the self-created market places? 

How is it self-sustaining in a long term? 

Selling of produce in the market have become a burden to the sellers trying to choose which location best suits them and their customer.

 There is a need for our leaders to think and work hard to solicit funding for a modern market facility at a central location.  

The incompetency of the town authority to provide leadership in the municipal responsibilities has been lacking effectiveness for far too long while our rural majority  depends a lot in marketing for their livelihood.
