Ladies, tell us your plans

The National – Friday, December 17, 2010

I HAVE heard and read so much about the reserved seats for the 22 women representatives.
What I have not read or heard is who these women are and what are their goals and plans.
I have not heard or read about an intending candidate coming out and talking about what she hopes to achieve.
How can the 22 women represent us, women and children, when we do not know who they are.
If 22 women believe that it is important to be involved in the decision-making of this country, then I call on them to share with us their goals and plans.
I want to know how they can contribute and bring about changes to this country.
I suggest the 22 intending representatives get their 2012 nominations fees ready, start drawing up their individual promises and enter parliament through the democratic electoral process.
Trust me, I will share with you tears of joy.
