 MEMBERS of the Morobe Bodybuilding Association will now be able to travel to Kokopo for the National Bodybuilding Championship next month. 

This was made possible through the assistance of the Morobe Sports, Culture and Tourism office of the provincial government who stepped in with airfares.

MBA spokesman and contestant Wilfred Kurua lauded the provincial government for their timely assistance and promised to bring home medals.

Kurua said the team was struggling to meet the expenses and the help was appreciated.

The team: Eskay Steel (80kg), Kurua (85kg), Jorry Awengo (60kg), Joe Londati Miso and Solo Api (75kg), Lambert Sangip (masters), Jeremiah Saveman (65kg) 

 Ruth Steel (52kg) and Helen Mombi (65kg) will compete in the women’s division.
