LAE City Dwellers’ campaign in the 2021 Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League competition has been boosted with the donation of more than K2,000 from local company JJ Ship Equip Agencies in Lae yesterday. The Dwellers are making a comeback in this season’s premier league competition for the Northern conference alongside FC Morobe Wawens, Morobe United, Lae City FC, Tusbab Stallions, Sepik FC and Northern Youth FC.
On hand to receive the assistance from the company’s chief executive officer Dinesh Hapuarachchi was the club coach Peter Gunemba, vice-president Panu Shungai and captain Raymond Gunemba.
Hapuarachchi said the company was proud to be a part of a noble cause as they believed that sports and recreation was an important activity for Papua New Guineans.
