Lae mother wins K500,000 grand prize

A MOTHER of three, Bonnie Magalu, of Lae, Morobe, is the K500,000 grand cash prize winner of the Tablebirds “one million cash give away” promotion.
The promotion had run for 12 weeks and was drawn live on EMTV.
Magalu, 40, comes from Lealea in Central and works with Interoil in the procurement and logistic department.
She was lost for words when contacted, not believing such luck had come her way.
She had bought six packs of Tablebirds chicken and spent almost K100 at the Food Mart shopping mall at top town.
Magalu said she had entered many competitions but it was the first time she had such luck.
When asked how she would use the money, the reply was no immediate plans, but she is considering buying a house for the family. She counted it as her blessing.
