LAE police reported two suspected murders in Wampar Urban in Huon Gulf and a man was shot dead in Bulolo.

A 19-year-old from Nanga village in Wosera, East Sepik, was found dead at Muya village, along the highway to Nadzab last Saturday.

Provincial police commander Chief Supt Kaiglo Ambane said the suspected murder occurred after an argument between the deceased and three others.

The suspects were known but at large and parents are urged to help police, said. In early hours of last Saturday, a person identified as Wesley Tari, 32, from Kubalia, East Sepik, was found dead on the Markham Bridge.

Ambane said that after preliminary investigations, police realised that Tari had  some bruises on his body.  Ambane appealed to the public for any information that may help solve the case.

Ambane said the public needed to be mindful these days because it no longer safe to walk alone at nights or go around drinking.

Meanwhile, Bulolo Police Station commander Leo Kaikas confirmed the death Asi Kaurae Biap, from Wisi in Waria, and said four houses were allegedly burnt on Tuesday.

The incident occurred between Kasangare and Wisi villages.

Biap was shot dead, Kaikas said.
