MINOR premiers Kamkumung Crushers lock horns with inform PNG Ink Toner Royals in the major semi-final of the Lae Rugby League premier division.
In the sudden death encounter, Lae Panthers will meet Lae Magani, with the winners progressing to meet the winners of Crushers and Magani next week while the losers bow out for the season.
The game between Crushers and Royals is imminent and should go right down to the wire as both teams will be boosted with ACTL Bombers players returning from the bemobile Cup duties after an unsuccessful run this season.
Crushers have the upper-hand with regulars Kerry Tapako, Mark Mexico and Thomas Kumgi at the helm to set foundation for the Kamkumung settlers.
Although the bulk of their big guns, Mai Tom, James Menning and Junior Balkawa are with Toyota Enga Mioks, they still have the momentum to overturn the policemen.
But Bombers outstanding centre Smith Ipi will be the man for the Royals to rely on in both attack and defence.
Both teams are equally matched in all departments and the team that makes fewer mistakes will come out winners.
Meanwhile, the Lae Rugby League officials have warned all clubs’ officials and players in the finals campaign to respect the match officials, referees and touch judges during the finals.
