Lahanis set for a beauty

Letters

THE Lahanis had a low year this year and their performance was average.
At one stage they were at the bottom of the ladder. However, things changed when Sia and Nami reorganised the team by dropping most of the old dogs and going for a new bunch of players with no or limited experience – and slowly they improved, game by game.
They somehow they did enough to sneak into the finals at 5th place. When they played the Tigers, Gurias and Tumbe they were tagged the underdogs but how wrong can the punters be.
Again this weekend, as they prepare to meet the mighty Mioks in the Digicel Cup grand final at the National Football Stadium, in Port Moresby, on Sunday, they are expected to put up a beauty of a game.
They will again carry the name underdogs, so this is a callout to the red-and-white army to turn up in full force to support the Lahanis.
