Law and order problem

Letters

KIMBE town is becoming a place of thieves. Day light robbers are stealing every day.
It is not safe to walk individually or within groups of two’s and three’s during early hours, late hours and even the day.
Ill and mentally affected youths loitering streets, grab bilums, bags, phones and items from the mothers, girls and even boys.
I’ve witnessed this several times.
The main market area next to the police station is where you can witness youths selling marijuana and pick pocketing like a normal daily business.
When such things take place right under our eyes, then where is law and order?
The Kimbe Provincial Authority and the police need to look into this issue and come up with strategies to minimise illegal activities and crimes.
