Leaders care about their own self-interest only

 IT seems that our leaders are not concerned about our country’s stability and how we are being affected now and in the future.

Our country is being hailed by many first world countries as a liquefied natural gas producer and as well as other non-renewable and renewable resources. 

Have our leaders noticed this? 

All they want and think about are the high positions and themselves. 

They do not seem to care whether the country’s economy rises or falls or whether we benefit or not. 

I think we should have never gained independence because it seems that we are not fit to stand on our own. 

Many rural and remote districts are still the same since independence while leaders go in and out of parliament.

Nothing has changed although we are blessed with natural resources.

I think it is the result of greed and self-interests among many of leaders.

They desire for higher positions and all the benefits that go with it and forget about the people they are supposed to serve. 

Leaders must put God first, the country second and themselves last.
