League judiciary to decide on results

THE Papua New Guinea National Rugby League judiciary committee will deliberate on the premature end to the Digicel cup round 11 match between hosts Goroka Lahanis and Enga Mioks in Goroko,  Eastern Highlands, on Sunday.
Mioks were leading 16-14 when the match ended.
The judiciary will also decide on the round 9 game Mendi with PRK Mendi Muruks and Snax Lae Tigers which was disrupted. Tigers were leading 24-22.
PNGNRL chief executive officer Stanley Hondina said decisions would be made by the judiciary committee in Port Moresby this week when the point’s ladder would be finalised and confirmed.
The unconfirmed points ladder at the end of round 11: Snax Lae Tigers 17 points; Wamp Nga Hagen Eagles 17, Agmark Gurias 16, Waghi Tumbe 13, EPG Mioks 13, Kemele Hela Wigmen 11, PRK Mendi Muruks 10, PRK Gulf Isapea 9, SNS Pom Vipers 9 TNA Simbu Lions 7, Bintangor Goroka Lahanis 6.
With five rounds remaining before the top five are confirmed and finalised. All final series will be held from August 14-28 and Sept 4 with the grand final to be played in Port Moresby.
In Port Moresby, Vipers take on PRK Gulf Isapea this Sunday.
In Minj, in what is predicted as the match of the round, WampNga Hagen Eagles faces Waghi Tumbe.
In Goroka, Bintangor Lahanis lock horns with PRK Mendi Muruks. Kemele Hela Wigmen match up with TNA Simbu Lions. In Wabag, EPG Enga Mioks go up against visitors Agmark Rabaul Gurias while competition leaders Snax Lae Tigers will be bye.
