Leave behind govt assets when you retire

Letters

THIS is a call out to East Sepik’s Wosera-Gawi administration to set a precedence for our new township.
We have witnessed public servants in other parts of the country occupying government-owned houses after retirement and using them as their private homes.
I, as a concern citizen of the district, do not want such to happen in our new and upcoming township.
We do not want to see children of ex-public servants occupying those government houses.
All public servants should leave government-owned houses and other assets such as government vehicles as soon as they receive their notification of retirement. Go and build your own houses in your villages using your retirement benefits.
