Left in the dark

TO date, there has been no information from the office of the Vice-Chancellor Prof Frank Griffin or his senate members about a graduation date.
Will it still be held or cancelled?
Everyone is surely aware that PNG is now operating into a new normal due to the Covid-19, therefore, a graduation would be impossible to host.
Hence, the only available option is that the university council cancel the event and graduate students in absentia.
We’re already past mid-year and students are still waiting for some sort of notice.
Patience is a virtue but has limitations.
Students cannot be patience for almost a year because they need their respective papers to apply for jobs, post-graduate studies etc.
Students are optimistic and certain that UPNG will make a decent decision within August and not by September.
