Legal background gives Manase the Justice job

KANDEP MP Alfred Manase has been confirmed as justice minister and attorney-general.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill made the announcement in a statement yesterday, saying Manase had a strong legal background.
Manase replaces Esa’ala MP Davis Steven who resigned last week.
O’Neill said he was confident that Manase would continue where Steven left off, enforcing the reforms the latter had started.
O’Neill last week paid tribute to Steven’s loyalty and commitment while serving as a minister in his Cabinet.
Manase is currently the Minister for Civil Aviation.
