Legends cricket bash set for Dec 1-5

THE Pacific MMI Motor Vehicle Insurance Limited’s don’t drink and drive legend’s bash has been set for Dec 1-5 with the Twenty20 bash held on Dec 4-5.
Due to the late unavailability of some specific high profile legends Andrew Symonds and Brad Hogg the event, initially set for this month, had been moved to December.
Cricket PNG and Pacific MMI and MVIL will be announcing the new line-up of the legends for the bash on Monday.
Cricket PNG is comfortable with the new dates because it will allow for a higher profile group of legends and a more successful and enjoyable event for cricket fans and more effective advocacy of the don’t drink and drive message.
Last year’s event won the global award for the best cricket promotion and marketing programme at the last year’s Pepsi ICC Global Development Awards, but, more importantly, it helped to significantly raise the profile of the don’t drink and drive message.
Being able to attract internationally famous cricket heroes to promote cricket and this important social message is something that Cricket PNG, Pacific MMI and MVIL are proud to be associated with.
