THE Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup challenge in Goroka, Eastern Highlands, will have its grand final match on Sunday, chief executive officer Timothy Lepa said.

Lepa said the Mt Hagen, Western Highlands Challenge was scheduled for next weekend followed by the Enga and West New Britain challenges.

He said the competition in Hagen would be run by Mal  Taime, who replaces James Maninga.

“The Southern region has already completed its challenge last weekend and the Gold pass winners, Badili Warokos and Six-Mile Storm are standing by for the challenges to be completed,” :epa said.

“The teams in the Momase region will have their challenges on the first weekend of March.

“After the completion of all the challenges we will have the major Eastern end and Western end challenges.”

“The Eastern end challenge for the Momase, New Guinea Island and Southern Regions while the Western end is for the  Highlands region.

“The Western end challenge will be staged in Lae, Morobe, from March 11-13 and the Eastern end challenge will be staged in Hagen, Western Highlands, on the same weekend.

Lepa said the top place finisher from each end would face off in the grand final in Wabag, Enga, on the first week of April with the winner getting K100, 000.
