OF the K5 million that regional member, Joe Lera has earmarked for north Bougainville projects, a significant amount has been promised to the owner of a privately- owned Aldona kindergarten school located on Sohano Island.

This school has been receiving assistance from both the Autonomous Bougainville Government and the national government through other local MPs.

The school is a private institution, a private business venture for only one family.

Even all the teachers are  from the same family.

This family has benefitted enough from government funds.

Can Governor Joe Lera please assist those schools in the rural areas in north Bougainville?

Schools in the rural areas need assistance.

Stop assisting that privately-run school.
