Let’s leave the lyrics of our national anthem alone

 I REFER to a statement by Prof John Waiko about re­vising our national an­them so that it includes both genders.

I wonder if it is musically ethical to change the lyrics of a song, let alone the anthem of a country.

I am sure Thomas Shackley did not aim to disregard the female gender.

Let us not draw a line when there is not one.

Let us not confuse the issue of gender with our national anthem.
