Let law prevail

Letters

I CONDEMN the Yangakun tribesmen of Wapenamanda, Enga, for allegedly murdering an innocent man from Kompiam.
Yangakuns took the law into their own hands by allegedly killing Pano Pakea in his house at Wapenamanda Station.
I urged the leaders of Yangakun and Yakuman to immediately stop such practice and take appropriate legal actions.
Pakea was a public servant who lived in Wapenamanda for more than 20 years and he was innocent.
Wapenamanda is not only for Yangakun and Yakuman, it is a cosmopolitan business hub for everyone from Enga, PNG and the international community where different people move through or live and do businesses.
Please ensure that those involved in the killing are properly dealt with by law.
