Let us change

Letters

ALBERT Einstein, the greatest physicist of all time, once said, it is insane doing the same things over and over again expecting a different result.
People of Papua New Guinea, each and every one of us have what it takes to elevate our country to new heights.
For our students in the classrooms, never forget that you are not your grades.
Just because you got D’s or C’s in your report cards does not mean that is who you are.
Many times as teachers, or even parents, we judge our students from their grades.
Some schools even put low performing students in different classes and top performing students in other classes.
Well, for our students, always remember that the grades you are getting today is the result of how you were performing in the past.
If you have read Dr Ben Carson’s book, you will know that as a primary school student, he was getting zeroes.
However, those zeroes never stopped him from becoming one of the world’s renowned brain doctors.
What changed Dr Carson was reading two books a week and learning his times tables.
If you want to see different results, you have to start doing things differently.
If you are a student getting D or C grades, and you know you are always on Facebook, or WhatsApp, or Instagram, then maybe it’s time to sacrifice social media for your studies.
All in all, we will never live forever.
Now that we are still breathing, let us change if we have to and make the rest of our life the best of our life.
