Let’s fight corruption

Letters

DEVELOPING countries like Papua New Guinea are being robbed by developers from
first world countries and the Far East.
The only place that PNG can learn from is the Middle East.
See how the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and rest in the Middle East have done it.
PNG can only learn from them.
Others will not be overly honest!
Is this difficult?
No, it is not.
It is doable by all means.
Can we harvest it ourselves?
It is not difficult either.
We can do it by all means.
Reading through and hearing friends from the Middle East say, we are attached to our past colonial powers that we are caught in between.
The west said Iraq president was a dictator, but Iraq was a wealthy nation and it looked after its people very well.
Iraq’s people did not destroy its country in the first place, somebody else did.
A contributor in one of the WhatsApp group wrote about Nigeria, Guatemala, Iraq and
what is happening around the world, and further elaborated
on the vulnerability of the developing world caught in between the tyranny of the first world countries who strongly support their giant developers of resources.
The distribution percentages put here is not from an article or a publication but an opinionated contribution that is worth the look and the GoPNG should seriously look at this if PNG wants to be the first richest black nation as alluded by our 8th Prime Minister James Marape.
And also to be first richest black nation, we must fight corruption, and fight corruption at the top and come down.
As long as we run to the bone when it is thrown at us, we will still continue to struggle as a nation, and as long as the fierce and dangerous barking dog is silenced with a feed, we will continue to struggle as a nation.
