IT is now common knowledge that cronies of certain firebrand politicians have literally ran down a government department within a space of four years from 2017 to 2021 without delivering a policy or project. It is about time the department secretary’s position is advertised forthwith by Department of Personnel Management. We have to attract experienced personnel externally to clean up all the mess and hold all these cronies accountable.
