Air Niugini please explain:
CAN the management of Air Niugini please clarify on the 55 per cent discount that is currently advertised in the media? I noticed while booking a ticket online for a one way ticket into Kieta (on the specified dates) that the fare was at K985.00. The return ticket on a normal fare is about K2,821.40. The 55 per cent discount would cost about K1,551.77 with a one way ticket of K634.82. The information provided to public is misleading and is frustrating to customers who wish to grab a good deal to travel home. Please explain

Owning a vehicle costly:
AS a private vehicle owner I find the cost of running a vehicle so high. I have to spend over K15,000 per year on fuel. Another K1,000 on registration and K100 on safety sticker. Other parts replacement and servicing makes it even more costly. Yet we see traffic officers at the road checks issuing traffic infringement fines at exorbitant costs. All those should be reduced down to K20 level for expired safety sticker, impounding of vehicles without registration or jailing unlicensed drivers to make city safe for motorists. Can the Minister for Transport review all those hefty fines?

No new opportunities:
NOT much has happened in the past two years to attract and facilitate new investments into all sectors of the economy, including value added processing. There are no new job opportunities for those 60,000 plus school leavers coming out of the education system every year.
