Disregard proposal:
BRYAN Kramer’s proposal to remove 25 per cent from public servants’ salaries and allowances during the state of emergency will only add another problem to the coronavirus pandemic. Prime Minister James Marape only wants 25 per cent allowance cut from MPs. That is all. That is a logical thing to do because currently parliamentarians are super paid by the State.

Police brutality continues:
IT seems no day passes without incidences of police brutality in Papua New Guinea. During the two weeks lockdown, a young school teacher was slashed on the head by a knife wielding policeman in Anglimp, Jiwaka, for no apparent reason. What rights do policemen have in engaging in such brutal attacks on law abiding citizens?

Business houses hailed:
IT is good to see our business houses around the country giving tireless support to combat Covid-19. Among these I appreciate Telikom PNG and Protex for sponsoring the broadcasting of Covid-19 daily updates and awareness on television. This proves that you are always there for the people of PNG. You are playing a very important part.
