Malaysia commended:
Malaysia upheld the integrity of the rule of law when it found former PM Najib Razak guilty of all seven charges of corruption, and abuse of power and sentenced him to 12 years. Having an exalted political status did not give the former PM a special standing before the law. The people of Malaysia can be proud of their justice system.
