Why Maru:
RATHER than selectively decommissioning government ministers, all PNC Party MPs who are still holding on to their ministerial portfolios should be treated the same, equally and fairly. Why only Yangoru-Saussia MP Richard Maru was removed as National Planning and Monitoring Minister? Is this to do with PNC Party not wanted in the current government of PM Marape?
This is an injustice to the people of Yangoru-Saussia if only Richard Maru and few others were removed from their ministerial portfolios. Something is not right with PM Marape and Pangu Pati.

Numu’s call:
DEAR Governor Numu, word on the streets of Port Moresby is that one of the so-called “key man” in your Korean aid programme in Eastern Highlands was brought down, questioned and possibly celled. This was in relation to the supposed mismanagement of significant funds belonging to the Koreans.
As that aid programme is run through your office (overseas desk) and the Provincial Government, can you take note?
Contact the Korean officials and if substantiated; take legal, corrective and recovery actions.
Dubious characters should not be allowed to degrade Eastern Highlands and bring the Korean programme into disrepute. Such thieves drag the province into the mud.

Pro good governance
