Australians deported:
THE four Australians who were deported by Indonesian state authorities, for supporting the West Papuan pro-democracy and independence protest are lucky they did not meet the fate of the Balibo five Australian journalists, who were deliberately killed by Indonesian special forces on the eve of the Indonesian invasion of East Timor in 1975. But the killing of the West Papuans by Indonesian security forces continues in a manner not dissimilar to what the East Timorese had encountered following the invasion. How many West Papuans would be tortured and killed before the international community act?
