Be lenient on customers:
FINANCE companies should be lenient with their loan default customers. The current trend of finance companies publishing names of defaulters on credit bureau data should be lenient because it is not the customers fault.Only when customers are not repaying directly from their take home pay, then it would be correct to say that their customers are defaulting from repaying their loans. It is to be understood that the finance companies are there to stay and likewise the customers.

Support people financially:
WHILE the Government is imposing restrictions, many people are struggling to find means and ways to earn an income to support their family needs. If the Government can financially support unfortunate households before extending the state of emergency (SOE), people will stay in one place as they may have enough to support themselves. Consider the impacts SOE might have on the lives of the poor rural people before extending it.

  • The SOE and the Govt tries so hard to curb the Virus, the people without proper income suffers and they might die of bullet or hunger. someone told me that a store at Taurama near Dove funeral home was looted in the night. The thieves got cigarette boxes, flex cards and many other light weight high value items and kept them in a small house under a tree and went back to continue fetching in more from that shop at around 3am. A police vehicle passed by saw them and chased them all the way in the bushes and the boys run away leaving everything behind. When the thieves returned, all stolen items hidden in the small house were not there and the police car was not there, other police came in and inspect the store.
