CAN Public Service Minister Joe Sungi direct his department to advertise some departmental head positions as soon as possible. There are few departments who have acting secretaries appointed under general orders eight for over two years. This shows weaknesses in the management of public service It gives more space for those in acting capacity to abuse resources and stifle delivery of services for not being on contract to report on their key result areas. It is time for the public service minister to do something.
