AN invitation has been extended to all level one  certified umpires to run the matches at the Private Companies’ netball competition on Sunday at the Rita Flynn Courts.
Competition president Hitolo Moka made the call during the week, saying it would be the best opportunity for the  umpires to implement their skills which they attained from training and workshops they attended.
The competition will go through the second weekend of trials on Sunday before the season proper starts on Jan 24.
The competition has more teams registering their interests this year, bringing the total number of divisions to 11 – a premier category and divisions 1-10.
Moka said the season had two rounds with seven games per round taking the competition through to May followed by the the finals scheduled for early June.
All teams taking part in the competition are urged to pay up their registration fees before the start of season proper.
On Sunday, Daltron will face IPA, Nambawan Supa clash with Bank South Pacific (BSP) One, Brian Bell do battle with Air Niugini and Westpac lock horns with Fairdeal Liquors.
A tough battle is expected between Nambawan Supa and BSP One.
After going down narrowly to Brian Bell last weekend, Nambawan Supa will test the strength of BSP.
