Light up Chimbu

The National Letters

I was happy to read in Tuesdays’ newspaper plans by Bulolo MP and minister responsible for energy to light up rural areas.
This is good news for all people living in rural areas.
My rural Kup LLG in Kerowagi, Chimbu, does not have any electricity.
Fires are still used to provide light.
Torches and solar lights are used by a few.
I am appealing to Kerowagi MP Bari Palma and Chimbu Governor Michael Dua Bogai to partner with Basil to light up rural Chimbu.
Our district and provincial funds are not enough to support all our rural areas. We people of Kup hope to be lit up soon.
