LLG assists community police with funds for ops

A LOCAL level government in the Wewak district has come to the aid of its two auxiliary police units by providing K2,000 each for their Christmas and New Year operations in their villages.
More than 40 auxiliary policemen and women from Forok and Balik in Turubu received the money from their LLG president David Kausik on Christmas Eve.
The K4,000 given to the two units complemented the K50,000 given by the East Sepik provincial administration.
