LLG, NGO form water partnership

 A LOCAL level government in East Sepik has partnered an international non-government organisation to bring safe drinking water and sanitation service to its communities.

Wewak rural LLG president Francis Hevu signed an agreement with WaterAid PNG in Wewak to support the basic need for water supply, sanitation and to reduce the incidence of diarrhoea through hygiene promotion and education.

It is the second LLG in Wewak district to go into a partnership arrangement. Turubu LLG has completed four water supply and sanitation projects.
