A VISIT by Mineral Resources Development Corporation’s (MRDC) managing director, Augustine Mano to the Pimaga government station, in the Nipa-Kutubu district, Southern Highlands, has won praise.

Kutubu LLG president and chairman of Oil and Gas in the Southern Highlands provincial government, John Pipi Kila said it was the first time that the organisation’s top official had visited the station.

Kila is a landowner of the Moran Oil Fields.

Mano made the visit with a delegation that included senior MRDC managers such as Imbi Tagune.

Kila said the visit gave public servants, the station and surrounding communities a chance to interact with the organisation.

He said people were accessing services through MRDC’s stewardship and support.

The support included the establishment of BSP branches at Moro and Kikori station.

He stressed that many community projects such as health and education services were underway under Mano’s leadership, through MRDC.

Kila said Mano delivered on what he committed to and was willingly serving landowner interests.
