Loan to fund road programme good

Letters

WE have to find money and finance important road infrastructure development in the country.
Most funding from aid and donors were spent only on city roads but the road network around the country was never properly financed.
The Government seeking loan from our very own commercial bank (Bank South Pacific Financial Group Ltd) is a wise economic decision.
Whatever that will be taken will be given back and the money still stays in the country does not leave the shore.
The loan interest rate is good and the repayment period is manageable.
The K2 billion loan to fund the Connect PNG project is good.
We need godly, honest and visionary leaders and accountability in all sectors to oversee the financing aspect of the Connect PNG policy of the Government and BSP can finance the balance. The road network can raise its own maintenance funds, which is why BSP should give the State K2 billion loan.
