POPULAR local artists will raise money for underprivileged youth in a music festival at the Ron Albert Oval, in Madang, on June 25.
The “Island Way” tour, which has been doing gigs around the country with one in Kimbe before going to flying fox country, will feature the Turana Band that is promoting their video clip and album.
The radio personality-cum-singer, Vavie Essy, will perform the popular hit song Love Tumas featuring Rochus “the Kid” and Brixie, the voice of BJ Nagora.
The ever popular K Dumen band of Morobe will also perform.
The event will have a day show for children from age five and above. Those with ID cards will be charged K3 while those without will pay K5.
The night show at the Madang Country Club will cost K10.
Orchids Events is organising the event and the rapid response unit of the local police will be in charge of crowd control as the unit is a sponsor of the show.
