Local company sponsors three trainee pilots
THREE young men, sponsored by a local aviation company will fulfil their dreams of becoming pilots at the Advance Training Pilot School in Fiji.
Papua New Guinean company Aviation Niugini has funded over K500,000 in school fees for Abraham Gueme and Sylvester Mange from Southern Highlands and Nelson Tepu from Tambul-Nebilyer, Western Highlands.
Niugini Aviation chief executive officer Roxon Undi said he was confident that the three would serve with the company and fulfil their dreams of becoming pilots.
“Their dreams have now been realised through the generosity of Niugini Aviation,” he said.
Niugini Aviation owner Ruth Undi said the company recently acquired Central Aviation and was expanding.
“The sponsorship incentive aims to provide young men an opportunity to progress with their dreams in aviation,” she said.
“I am giving them a chance in their lives to fulfil their dreams.
“I have pilots from New Zealand who can share their experience and knowledge with them so they are appropriately trained to take Niugini Aviation to greater heights.”
