A LOCAL stevedoring company in Lae, Morobe, yesterday helped Busu Secondary School with K5,700 for its graduation.

The presentation was made by Riback Stevedores in the form of shopping vouchers.

School principal George Geyactulu said he was grateful to the company for the help.

Geyactulu said it promoted a good relationship between the school and the community.

He said Grade 12 students who get awards for the first, second and third places in each subject will receive a K150 voucher to be spend at the Papindo supermarket.

Riback Stevedores Group operation manager George Gware said since the school was in the locality of Ahi land, they realised that their future depended on people getting education.
