GARDEN Hills Upisa staged a strong recovery to beat Kwazee Hunters 6-0 in the Eastern Highlands District Baaz Cup at Unagi oval in Port Moresby last Sunday.
It was a scoreless first half but the Upisa stormed home in the second stanza to wrap up the game with a converted try.
In the other matches Manua Anis scored a 6-0 over Gordons Ridge, Siane Pythons edged out Jonipi Warriors 4-0 and Brotherhoods also beat Siane Koboni with a similar scoreline.
President Benny Kene said the washed out games will be played today before the round ends with the top eight confirmed for playoffs.
The grand final is scheduled for March.
Kene reminded clubs who have outstanding affiliation fees to settle them before the playoffs kick off next weekend.
He said failing to adhere this instructions would result in their exclusion from the top eight, even if they make the cut.
Kene is confident that the competition will end successfully.
